Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
  • ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation at all times
  • monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, with the management team to implement an effective process
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, with rotas and tasks relayed to team members
  • as Head chef/manager you will be responsible for taking the lead in the kitchen, shaping the food offering across the range of restaurant,bar, carvery, weddings and events
  • adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations at all times, including the monitoring of all necessary paperwork
  • you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills. Working as a part of a team is essential and you must show a passion for cooking and developing a team
  • location starting base will be Felixstowe, however you may be required to move location/travel to our hotels in Norwich. The role will be to develop our team across the 3 hotels

Requirements

  • strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
