Responsibility
oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation at all times
monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, with the management team to implement an effective process
maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, with rotas and tasks relayed to team members
as Head chef/manager you will be responsible for taking the lead in the kitchen, shaping the food offering across the range of restaurant,bar, carvery, weddings and events
adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations at all times, including the monitoring of all necessary paperwork
you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills. Working as a part of a team is essential and you must show a passion for cooking and developing a team
location starting base will be Felixstowe, however you may be required to move location/travel to our hotels in Norwich. The role will be to develop our team across the 3 hotels
Requirements
strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
excellent leadership and communication skills
ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
