PermanentJob DescriptionHealth & Safety OfficerWe are an established Mechanical Engineering company based in Toomebridge with an impressive record in the successful completion of a variety of commercial projects throughout Ireland and GB and more recently mainland Europe. We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Officer to maintain and further advance the Health and Safety procedures within our expanding business.Candidate Requirements:A recognised H&S qualification e.g., NEBOSHGood understanding of current H&S legislation, theory, and best practice.Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.Professional membership body status or working towardsRelevant CSR cardExcellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.2 Years' experience practice in the construction industry (desirable but not essential)Full Driver Licence and ability to travel to sites in Ireland, GB and Mainland Europe on a monthly basisThe Role:Ensure H&S management systems are implemented and maintained across all sites.Managing the administration for Health & Safety inductions, Site Safety folders, and training plans for all site personnelCarry out regular site H&S audits, safety inspections and toolbox talks with follow up administration.Regularly review and assist with the update of Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Safety Statements.Manage training & compliance files for all site personnel & sub-contractors on site ensuring staff have all the relevant cards and training certifications.Lead & promote a continuous improvement culture in relation to all health, safety, and environmental work practices on site.Identify areas of risk and develop risk as
