Responsibility
- involvement in company development
- deliver a mixture of desk-based and field-based work, conducting, managing and co-ordinating a wide range of habitat and protected species surveys
- QA of reports, deliverables and services
- we are seeking Senior Ecologists, Ecologists and Assistant Ecologists, to join our growing team across Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Berkshire, Kent, the north of Hampshire and South London
- manage and conduct analysis and statistical assessment of ecological data
- produce full tenders and review of complex project budgets
- our Ecology team work Hybrid with a mixture of home based, site work and office days
- line Manage more junior members of the team, with regular catch-ups and career and skills progression meetings
Requirements
- strong ecological consultancy-based experience and detailed working knowledge of UK ecology, planning policy and relevant environmental legislation
- senior Ecologists. £33,000 to £40,500 pa
- A Degree and/or post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
- ecologists. £25,000 to £32,500 pa
- at least 1 Natural England EPS licence/s or specialism
- assistant Ecologists. £23,000 to £24,500 pa
- proven experience of writing and producing an array of technical ecological reports and tenders within a consultancy setting
- associate Membership of CIEEM at minimum
