Working hours

Responsibility
- working as an operative you will be involved with grass cutting, hedge cutting, border maintenance, and leaf clearance
- as an operative you will be a team player with extensive experience of using general horticultural machinery and previous experience
- we require the right person in this role to help us to continue to grow and keep standards high
- good communication with the manager/director of the company is essential
- team building days and staff BBQs
- you will also automatically have an extra days holiday for a birthday
- to work in a tidy and safe manner at all times, complying with all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental practices and procedures. Safe manner at all times, complying with all relevant Health & Safety
- to operate all vehicles, machinery and equipment in a safe manner
Requirements
- A certificate in handling and dealing with chemicals PA1/PA6
- experience in ride on machinery and towing
- experience of using general horticultural machinery
- experience in the maintenance of commercial areas etc
- good plant knowledge, Strong team work skills
- full driving licence and with own transport, Van provided for the working day
- full driving licence and with own transport to our work yard in Patching, Worthing
- grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Occupations: 2 years
