ensure the weekly debtors reports is maintained and any overdue invoices managed, review bad debt provision as required
conduct Monthly, Quarterly and annual internal audits
ensure all transactional ledgers are accurate and up to date, review accruals and prepayments
assist with purchase ledger and payments to suppliers
review of profit of loss, sales and purchase accounts and identify unusual variances
assisting in the year end audit process, preparation of annual tax packs for tax accountants
maintaining bank accounts and cash flow maintenance in addition to the reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
supporting the preparation and monitoring of budgets
Requirements
at least 3 years’ experience in a finance related role
highly numerate with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
understanding of the challenges of working within an international business - multiple currencies, products, business models
good knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including the relationship between the three financial statements
qualified, part qualified or finalist accountant, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent, or QBE as a Company Accountant, Management Accountant or Financial Accountant
diligence and ability to provide accurate figures whilst working to tight deadlines
