Responsibility
work with finance to develop payroll processes and systems where required
recognise and investigate potential errors and inconsistencies proposing and implementing corrective actions
own and manage pension administration services in partnership with the pension provider
ensuring, at all times, that payroll processes are correctly actioned and are compliant and in line with company policy and PAYE legislation
manage the input and maintenance of all colleague records during employment and at exit
complete ownership of the full weekly and monthly payroll transactions, including basic payments, overtime, SSP, SMP , Court Orders, Pensions, and other deductions, annual statutory returns
produce a monthly people KPI dashboard relevant to the leadership team and high level extract for Board Reports and any other ad hoc reports as requested by the Head of People or Directors
to work with the Head of People and People Talent Partner to develop and maintain the company’s policies and practices ensuring they are compliant with employment legislation across all operating jurisdictions

Requirements

good working knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal
good working knowledge of typical fleet and equipment uses and capabilities in relation to core services
proven and experienced in managing people with fairness and consistency
