Responsibility

• work with finance to develop payroll processes and systems where required
• recognise and investigate potential errors and inconsistencies proposing and implementing corrective actions
• own and manage pension administration services in partnership with the pension provider

• ensuring, at all times, that payroll processes are correctly actioned and are compliant and in line with company policy and PAYE legislation
• manage the input and maintenance of all colleague records during employment and at exit
• complete ownership of the full weekly and monthly payroll transactions, including basic payments, overtime, SSP, SMP , Court Orders, Pensions, and other deductions, annual statutory returns
• produce a monthly people KPI dashboard relevant to the leadership team and high level extract for Board Reports and any other ad hoc reports as requested by the Head of People or Directors
• to work with the Head of People and People Talent Partner to develop and maintain the company’s policies and practices ensuring they are compliant with employment legislation across all operating jurisdictions
• manage benefit schemes such as holiday buying and administer DBS checks,cycle to work scheme and drug and alcohol testing via external providers

Requirements

• CIPP certified to level 3 or higher desirable
• CIPD - any level and willingness to work to level 5 with company support
• monday and Friday need to be worked routinely as these are key days

Requirements

• extensive previous experience in the drainage sector including knowledge of installing and maintaining drainage systems
• excellent IT skills, particularly in writing technical repots on completed draining works and experience with CRM software
• good working knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal

• proven and experienced in managing people with fairness and consistency
• drainage Operations Management: 3 years

Responsibility

• gleaning customer feedback and reporting to teams and management in the company to identify improvements and strengths
• deliver regular business updates to the senior team detailing progress at monthly and quarterly meetings and ensure communication to the wider business on activity and opportunities
• keep abreast of changes to regulations and legislation to identify potential market opportunities, new products and services and growth potential
