Responsibility
- great Oaktree Land Services a ground maintenance and tree surgery specialist company based near Clacton-on-Sea
- we offer services to domestic, commercial, and public sectors, covering Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk
- job Role
- shift and schedule – Monday – Friday 7.30 – 16.30
- with an expanding customer base, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Team Leader and Operative to run and manage our Grounds Maintenance contract work local to Clacton-on-Sea
- an ideal candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual, with a proactive, positive and professional attitude. This individual will take pride in their work and have the capability to organise a small team across designated sites
- day to day duties will include but is not limited to; grass mowing, hedge cutting, litter collection, weed spraying, strimming and pitch marking
Requirements
- hold PA1 and PA6 spray certificates
- have experience operating a variety of mowing & maintenance machinery
- be able to work well in a team and individually
- experience managing teams and good leadership skills
- good understanding of health and safety
- excellent communication skills between team members and clients
- ability to effectively and quickly problem solve and find solutions
- full clean UK driving licence
