Responsibility

  • preparation of monthly management acccounts
  • preparation of monthly payroll
  • VAT returns
  • bookkeeping
  • bank reconciliations
  • credit control and accounts payable
  • legal Aid submission and claims and dealing with monthly BACS statement
  • maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions

Requirements

  • accountancy qualification
  • proven experience in accounting or finance role as an Account Manager
  • experience in the Legal Sector and knowledge of the Solicitors' Account rules and Legal Aid Agency work preferred
  • familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • accounting: 1 year
  • bookkeeping: 1 year
