Responsibility

  • A maintenance fabricator/fitter is required to join our busy High Peak based team
  • the role is predominantly site-based at various locations in Derbyshire, Sth Yorkshire and occasionally further afield
  • we have a small workshop facility in Chapel-en-le-Frith where you may be required to work occasionally
  • applicants should have general fabrication/maintenance experience, including cutting, grinding and drilling. Welding experience is preferred, but not essential. The role is flexible and can be tailored around candidates with suitable experience
  • experience of heavy industry, including work at heights, confined spaces working, mobile platforms/access and following Safe Working Systems is preferred, although training will be provided where required
  • hours of work are 45/week, with regular overtime available and the option of joining a 24-hour weekend/holiday call-out service . Rates of pay are competitive
