- maintain cleaning supplies inventory
- assist in various tasks in the kitchen and bar area
- ensure that food and other items are stored appropriately
- clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- the Graeme Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will perform routine cleaning and cleaning supplies duties and assist in various tasks in the kitchen and bar area. Deep cleaning also required
- other duties as assigned by management
- restock kitchenware items, including but not limited to: plates, bowls, glasses, etc
Requirements
- work experience as a Kitchen Porter or similar role in a restaurant
- hands-on experience with various cleaning methods and tools
- ability to follow instructions and work with a team
- A professional attitude and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- proven knowledge of restaurant best practices and health safety regulations along with a desire to learn
- excellent communication skills along with the ability to be professional and effective at providing prompt and excellent service
