Responsibility
- manage and lead a dedicated team, directing, organising and deploying staff on assignments and managing client relationships
- manage a portfolio of clients
- review of audit planning, fieldwork and completion
- review of audit finalisation documents including financial statements and reports to management
- supporting the team in managing workflows and attendance at planning, completion and finalisation meetings
- reporting to clients and answering questions on the audit and statutory financial statements
- point of contact for the audit engagement team
- reporting to the Directors and partners on auditing and accounting issues
Requirements
- experience working as an audit manager for a firm of accountants
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and techniques
- proficient in using audit software and tools
- excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
