Responsibility

  • an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reception/Business Administrator to join Gordon Brown Law’s busy Residential Conveyancing Administration team
  • the successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week 9am to 5pm
  • however, due to the ever-changing workflow demands the successful candidate should have a flexible approach to working hours
  • you will be responsible for dealing with client paperwork, original identification documents and general enquiries on the telephone and in person

  • during your core hours you will be responsible for ensuring clients are provided a warm, courteous and professional welcome to the Firm
  • due to the nature of the role knowledge of residential property and the conveyancing process is desirable. Candidates should therefore have a background in either conveyancing, estate agency or mortgages
  • key areas of responsibility include dealing professionally and diligently with all incoming telephone calls; accurately recording messages; coordinating the flow of information both internally and externally, dealing with new business quotations, and dealing with clients in person ensuring the correct documents are completed
