Responsibility
- provide professional and timely advice, guidance and support to the Senior Leadership Team and managers on employment legislation and current HR best practice
- maintain an effective working relationship with Goonhilly’s Employment Law Advisors and ensure that appropriate advice is sought routinely
- 11. Manage the process for the monitoring of sickness and other absences and provide regular absence reports to senior managers
- 17. Engage in appropriate continuous professional development and keep abreast of legislative changes and developments in HR and employment legislation
- attend meetings of the Senior Leadership Team, when required, to contribute to wider discussions concerning Goonhilly’s people management strategy
- ensure all policies and procedures are complied with and that managers understand their roles and responsibilities. Provide training in this where necessary
