it technician

Responsibility

  • prepare all necessary equipment and access for employees onboarding and offboarding, in collaboration with managers
  • install, test, configure, maintain and repair computer hardware, software, operating systems and the corporate network
  • prepare documentation of computer and office equipment, in collaboration with the IT Manager
  • write and maintain documentation related to technical procedures, when required
  • be a resource person for all apps in the Microsoft 365 suite
  • provide support for the phone system, including the call centre
  • respond to alerts, sometimes outside of business hours, when necessary
  • participate in IT security and compliance audits

Requirements

  • further Education in Technology or equivalent
  • experience and interest in IT and new technologies
  • be comfortable in a support role
  • excellent knowledge of Active Directory and related services
  • very good knowledge of networking , Microsoft 365 products, Atlassian products
  • flexible and available to work part-time
  • ability to exercise judgment, integrity and honesty
  • ability to protect the confidentiality of information
