Responsibility

  • goldsmiths Solicitors are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join the expanding Residential Conveyancing Team
  • good knowledge of the conveyancing process is a must
  • candidate must show high level of competency in managing case files from instruction to completion and post completion
  • helping manage cases
  • taking client instructions
  • dealing with client enquiries and communications
  • suitable candidates will have previous experience within a similar role where they have dealt with conveyancing files from instruction to post completion stage
  • preparing preliminary documents and legal bundles

Education

  • bachelor's

Requirements

  • educated to undergraduate level, ideally with an LLB
  • at least 6 months experience working within a Conveyancing Department and in particular doing post completion
  • knowledge of the Conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
  • strong attention to detail and able to time-manage efficiently
  • excellent administration and organisational skills
  • interpersonal and client focused
  • conveyancing: 1 year
  • family Paralegal: 1 year

Contract type

  • reviewing, approving and drafting Land Registry documentation such as AP1, FR1, RX and DS forms
  • drafting applications to HMLR using the online portal
  • respond to any Requisitions or queries raised by the Land Registry and other relevant parties
  • communicating with clients and other stake holders by email and telephone
  • using the HMLR portal to make enquiries and applications
  • adhering to lender’s compliance conditions and updating the lenders on their security
  • updating lender panels using online portal
  • preparing files for closure and archiving
