entering monthly sales invoice information on Excel spreadsheet throughout the month
creating and sending out sales invoices in Xero at month-end
sending out statements to clients at month-end and as required
we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to work two days a week at our busy office in Biggin Hill
obtaining invoicing information from new clients and setting up on Xero
you will be responsible for all accounting functions within the company, working as part of a small team of administration staff and with the Directors and need to hit the ground running
processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Xero or databases then filing hard copies
creating and entering payroll journal onto Xero at month-end
Requirements
able to work on your own initiative and without supervision
good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognise errors
multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with clients and suppliers
communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms
mathematical skills for accurate record-keeping
administrative skills for filing financial records
