Responsibility

• the Service manager will check support is appropriate and manage staff teams and the staff rota

• you will assist support staff where required or work along side with the people we support
• candidates will have had at least 1 years of experience working as a Shift Manager/Service Manager within a Learning disability care setting or be in the Position of Team Leader in a care setting where they have a strong desire to progress within their career
• candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with vulnerable adults and hold a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
• as a senior member of the team, you will promote good practice at all times and be a positive role model
• the candidate must be able to provide leadership to a team of staff in line with the Organisation’s aim to provide a high quality community support service tailored to suit each of the people we support
• as a Service Manager your role is to coordinate high quality support to adults with learning disabilities, Autism and associated challenging behaviours
• this role would suit someone who has experience with supervising within the sector
• providing and ensuring that support that is respectful, promotes dignity, independence and enablement

• working to resolve any absence issues in the staff team
• you will be responsible for creating rotas and recording any changes to these onto our data entry system
