Responsibility

  • working with groups of young people and individuals within project boundaries
  • build trusting, respectful relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds
  • make timely and appropriate referrals to external services where needed
  • uphold confidentiality regarding personal and sensitive information, in line with data protection policies
  • support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth work sessions, including creative, recreational, and issue-based activities
  • promote young people’s participation, voice, and leadership in shaping services
  • maintain a safe, welcoming environment and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times
  • work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, and partner agencies
