Responsibility
- oversee the national claims management process ensuring an effective and efficient process in place for all motor vehicle claims
- manage the process of insurance recoveries and settlements for all repair-related claims, ensuring all recoveries are pursued in a timely manner
- analyse data and trends to identify opportunities to reduce insurance costs through risk management strategies
- develop and maintain relationships with external parties to facilitate smooth claims processing
Requirements
- experience in the insurance/motor claims sector, ideally in a leadership/management capacity
- experience and understanding of the terms of reference of insurance policy documentation and the level of cover
- ability to collate and analyse data and to prepare reports for senior management
- excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and represent executive and functional colleagues
- experience in the transport industry is advantageous
- strong self-motivation and enthusiasm to drive and influence change
- insurance claims management: 2 years
