Responsibility
- you are responsible for assisting in the maintenance of GMT Managed Service solutions such as system monitoring and remote backup
- you must ensure client faults are escalated and handled within agreed service levels, whilst adopting a prevention rather than cure mentality

- working closely with clients’ IT departments, you will be responsible for liaising with other teams in the business and providing a 2nd level escalation point

- reporting of these processes is provided to the customer at timely intervals, and you will play an integral part in the continued development of these reports
- make recommendations for best practice, service and solution improvements coupled with highlighting opportunities for GMT to provide services and goods
- input into infrastructure strategy and design
- any other tasks which may, from time to time, be required
- ensure GMT are fulfilling contracted tasks
- technical contact with other solutions providers
