Requirements
- educated to degree level or equivalent
- demonstrate extensive sales experience across a range of different sponsorship products
- successful track record in closing his or her own clients and those of other team members
- ability to plan & organise effectively ensuring maximum use of time through the day
- ability to manage a sales team in line with GD’s requirements
- clear and articulate communicator. Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
- ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, self-motivate and motivate others
Responsibility
- liaising closely with the production team to ensure that sponsor speaker slots are update on materials
- keep accurate records on relevant systems regarding client data and background to ensure appropriate management of client information
- to attend relevant external summits, events or meetings where appropriate to support the sales process and lead generation
- to attend conferences/forums and provide on-site services to sponsors and exhibitors, including networking support, client entertainment etc
