Requirements

  • recent manager responsibility within the Finance function
  • an ACCA / ACA qualification
  • time spent in a VC backed, high-growth tech environment, ideally from low to £millions of revenue
  • interest in climate tech, passion for building a best-in-class Finance function, and high motivation for your own professional development
  • familiarity with Xero and scale up ERPs, together with the ability to implement a scalable Finance tech stack to help automate day to day tasks

Responsibility

  • preparing the business for its first audit – including review of accounting policies, preparation of end of year accounts and tax computation, and coordinating the provision of information to external auditors
  • preparation of regular reports to internal and external stakeholders: the management team, department heads, board of directors and shareholders
