Responsibility
- promote the company’s & affiliates’ services to new and existing clients to generate sales revenue
- develop existing accounts, expand market share, and upsell new services
- maintain working relationships on all trade sales
- manage all aspects of Freight capacity/ bookings
- liaise with agents and subcontractors to ensure that goods are shipped in line with client expectations
- develop and maintain an excess baggage / courier offering within Group
- work with group marketing to increase the scope and awareness of our brand and offering globally
- effective internal communication of relevant business information to colleagues
Requirements
- previous business development experience – Essential
- previous sales experience – Essential
- excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills – Essential
- previous experience within a similar role – Essential
- previous database system use – Desirable
- previous account management experience – Desirable
- multilingual – Desirable
- ability to handle and prioritise accordingly large volumes of work which increases / decreases seasonally
