Responsibility

  • promote the company’s & affiliates’ services to new and existing clients to generate sales revenue
  • develop existing accounts, expand market share, and upsell new services
  • maintain working relationships on all trade sales
  • manage all aspects of Freight capacity/ bookings
  • liaise with agents and subcontractors to ensure that goods are shipped in line with client expectations
  • develop and maintain an excess baggage / courier offering within Group
  • work with group marketing to increase the scope and awareness of our brand and offering globally
  • effective internal communication of relevant business information to colleagues

Requirements

  • previous business development experience – Essential
  • previous sales experience – Essential
  • excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills – Essential
  • previous experience within a similar role – Essential
  • previous database system use – Desirable
  • previous account management experience – Desirable
  • multilingual – Desirable
  • ability to handle and prioritise accordingly large volumes of work which increases / decreases seasonally
