Responsibility
- assemble and install Plumbing & heating systems according to specifications and safety standards
- perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing & heating systems to ensure optimal performance
- conduct assessments of plumbing & heating systems to identify issues or areas for improvement
- carry out heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs
- maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job
- collaborate with other tradespeople, such as builders / carpenters, when necessary to complete projects efficiently
- adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site
Requirements
- proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- at least NVQ level 2 Plumbing & Heating
- domestic Gas Qualifications preferred but not necessary
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively
- proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurements and calculations during installations
- must have a valid driving licence for transporting tools / equipment to job sites
- must have own hand & power tools
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills
