Responsibility
- working with Project Managers and Field Engineers, configure and activate site deployments to customer requirements and Glide network standards
- decommission old sites and repatriate old IP addresses back into the pool
- work with Product on delivering proof of concept sites
- mentor and support junior Engineers
- own TAC cases and manage vendors to ensure a timely resolution
- provide 3rd line support and work on INC’s in the TechOps queue when not on project work. Work with customers and vendors in doing so
- the role holder will be required to take part in an on-call rota during busy times of the year

Requirements
- working in Telco/ISPs
- experience of managing LAN routing and switching
- working in MSP
- experience deploying and supporting wireless solutions
- network Consultancy
- experience of passive optical configurations
- understanding of patch management and security considerations
- CCNP qualification preferred, or as an alternative at least 5 years’ experience working within large MSP/ISP scaling infrastructure across multiple vendor technologies
