Responsibility

• working with Project Managers and Field Engineers, configure and activate site deployments to customer requirements and Glide network standards
• decommission old sites and repatriate old IP addresses back into the pool
• work with Product on delivering proof of concept sites

• own TAC cases and manage vendors to ensure a timely resolution
• provide 3rd line support and work on INC’s in the TechOps queue when not on project work. Work with customers and vendors in doing so

Requirements

• working in Telco/ISPs
• experience of managing LAN routing and switching
• working in MSP

• experience deploying and supporting wireless solutions
• network Consultancy
• experience of passive optical configurations
• understanding of patch management and security considerations
• CCNP qualification preferred, or as an alternative at least 5 years’ experience working within large MSP/ISP scaling infrastructure across multiple vendor technologies
• able to operate autonomously and remain calm under pressure
• working knowledge of Firewalls such as Fortinet, Cisco and Aruba would be an advantage, as would experience of working with network automation and coding
