development manager
Responsibility
- draw an overall or individualised training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations of all employees
- deploy a wide variety of training methods
- conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
- monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness and success
- produce and manage training budget in conjunction with our Finance Manager
- provide opportunities for ongoing development of our employees
- identify and assess future and current training needs through the job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals in consultation with Line Managers
- resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
Requirements
- proven work experience as a Training Manager
- track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively
- strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training and Human Resources
