Responsibility
- assisting with meal preparation, eating, and drinking, considering dietary needs and preferences
- helping with household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and shopping, as per the care plan
- encouraging and supporting independence wherever possible
- acting as an advocate for service users, supporting them in expressing their needs and preferences
- reporting hazards, accidents, or safeguarding concerns promptly
- monitoring and reporting changes in health, behaviour, or circumstances to the care coordinator or manager
- ensuring adherence to care plans, preferences, and advanced decisions regarding end-of-life care
