GLASS IQ is looking for employees for positions:
- minimum education level - “A” Level or similar
- effective communication skills both written and verbal
- ability to use own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team
- motivated and proactive with desire to learn
- must have good attention to detail
- no previous experience is necessary if you wish to join our training scheme
- develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
- collaborate with clients and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings
- ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and architects
- maintain organised records of all design files and documentation for easy retrieval
- assess and comment on design drawings by external project designers, and reissue for amendments
- proficiency in AutoCAD
- strong understanding of glazing principles and architectural design processes
- excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
- A relevant qualification in design or engineering is preferred
- autoCAD: 2 years
