Responsibility
- we are a family-owned artisan gelateria, making and selling fresh gelato
- must have the right to work in the UK and be available for weekend days and afternoon/evenings
- leading staff on shift and communicating any issues with service or maintenance to the owner
- aiding in managing the front and back of house operations, including display, inventory, and deliveries
- ensuring the gelateria is always running smoothly and that all daily tasks are carried out each day
- understanding GioLato UK’s menu and being able to explain it to customers
- ensuring the gelateria is kept clean and organized and maintains a high level of health and safety
- assisting with creating and maintaining a strong social media presence
Requirements
- experience overseeing and motivating other employees
- food preparation management
- previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- customer service knowledge and experience working in a customer-facing role
- knowledge of espresso drinks and how to prepare them
- openness to learn new skills and continue to grow as our business does as well
