Responsibility

  • ensure that all fabrics, components and trims meet agreed internal quality standards
  • management of all external test providers ensuring that results arrive within agreed timescales
  • garment sample management, including, chasing manufacturers to keep to the critical path, sample measuring and garment storage organisation
  • maintain an up-to-date shade standard library ensuring continuity of colour standards
  • maintain a central Fabric Library to be used as a resource by the Product Development Team
  • work with our QC team to help resolve bulk production issues relating to fabrics, components or trims
  • communicate Gill quality standards to suppliers and deliver required standards
  • create and maintain garment component files, ensuring that suppliers submit components for testing at development and bulk stages during the Product Development Critical Path

Responsibility

  • monitoring and managing MS Server environment
  • managing Domains, Active Directory Health, Users, Groups and Group Policy
  • monitoring Servers, TCP/IP LAN and Wi-Fi health and performance
  • maintain, Design, Implement and regularly test Backups and DR plans
  • software updates, Patches and new installs as required
  • maintaining accurate IT documentation
  • manage Equipment repurpose or disposal
  • windows client feature updates, patches, ETC

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking principles and protocols
  • proficiency in IT support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • building and administering VMware ESXi and vCSA environments
  • server hardware builds, testing, and provision
  • administering Microsoft Windows Server environments including new server setup, upgrades, and services
  • administering Microsoft domain environments, Active Directory, GPO’s, DNS, WSUS, 365/Entra
  • backup and Recovery support including NAS/iSCSI, disaster recovery planning
