Requirements
- have 2 years continuous experience working in a warehouse environment
- must have experience and have FLT licence
- loading shovel experience is desirable
- able to work between 8a.m to 5p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7a.m. until 3p.m. on Friday
- attained a reasonable standard of secondary education
- this role will require a degree of flexibility
- health and Safety Awareness
- good interpersonal skills
Responsibility
- giffords Recycling Ltd is currently seeking a Machine Operator to work within in our wood processing yard. The successful candidate requires a valid forklift licence with the ability to operate heavy machinery
- taking responsibility for sorting through wood arriving on site daily utilising a Loading Shovel
- moving re-usable pallets so that they can be refurbished
- ability to lift 20- 30kgs of weight
- comfortable working in all weather conditions
- required to work on your own initiative whilst keeping all areas clean and tidy to avoid any hazards from occurring
- adhere to all Health & Safety Regulations
- required to be punctual in order to get daily tasks completed
