Requirements

  • experience with linux/unix. Configuring NginX and other services on servers
  • experience with AWS or similar cloud hosting services, for potential future shift away from the self-hosted system in place
  • an understanding or general interest in ship broking is a plus
  • minimum of 3 years' experience, preferably with experience on systems using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • 3-5 years hands on experience with NodeJS. MariaDB/MySQL
  • 3-5 years hands on experience with API/JSON/Rest integrations

Responsibility

  • develop and maintain a business-critical expert system written in clean JavaScript, HTML and CSS with SQL database and API integrations
  • working closely with all system users to meet their specific needs
