Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • working within a team to maintain our extensive fleet of mini cranes and lifting equipment
  • undertaking maintenance, service and repair of mini cranes and lifting equipment
  • conducting daily inspections, full service and maintenance of plant equipment within the hire fleet
  • provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure
  • LOLER testing of cranes within required periods, or as required depending on duration of hire period
  • diagnosis of plant/equipment defects
  • ability to fault find and diagnose faults on equipment including hydraulic and electrical issues
  • to maintain records for health & safety and customer service purposes

Requirements

  • engineering experience – either electrical or mechanical
  • read electrical and hydraulic diagrams
  • mechanical background working on HGV’s, Fork Lift Trucks, Plant Machinery, Access Platforms could be advantageous
  • understanding of health and safety requirements
