Responsibility

  • undertaking all aspects of work in relation to kitchen, bathroom, and utility fixings
  • repairing and inspecting domestic appliances
  • locate and repair issues with water supply lines
  • inspecting drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with regulations
  • interpreting building plans and specifications, mapping pipe layouts as required
  • installing fixtures and fittings, such as sinks, toilets and toilet seats and assemble fittings and valves for installation
  • collaborating with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing

Responsibility

  • manage the resident contracting processes, ensuring compliance with all standards, legislation, including data protection and Get Living processes, controls and policies
  • additionally, supported by the SCA, liaising with Solicitors on arrears or cases that require further action and legal proceedings e.g
  • section notices, statutory notices, evictions and bailiff appointments
  • processing the leasing administration for new deals; tasks include but not limited to, qualifying applications, requesting ID documents, completing reference and fraudulent checks, carrying out the Right to Rent checks and ensuring prescribed information is shared
  • contracting processes include but are not limited to, progressing new tenancies from point of offer to move in including referencing and drafting T&Cs and tenancy agreements; negotiating and processing tenancy renewals, transfers, extensions and surrenders; processing parking, storage and temporary licenses; processing pet, utility and payment plan agreements
  • responsible for accurately updating and amending the customer account ledgers, raising charges, managing direct debit set up and rent splits, receiving payments, providing rent statements, and arranging collection and returns of deposits along with their re/deregistration

  • chasing rent arrears and other debt in line with the chase process for debtors, liaising with Neighbourhood Hubs and the Finance team

painter and decorator

Requirements

  • city & Guilds/NVQ Level 23 in Painting & Decorating
  • proven experience in painting, wallpapering, and decorative finishes

Responsibility

  • prepare walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming
  • ensure work areas are protected, clean, and left tidy on completion
  • apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and specialist finishes to achieve high-quality results.Carry out minor repairs to plasterboard, woodwork, and other surfaces as required
  • work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to complete decorating projectsComplying with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and procedures, including task specific risk assessments and method statements, reporting unsafe working practices, installations, or equipment
