Responsibility
- balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- match purchase orders with invoices
- coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
- monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
- raise sales invoices and track bank account balances
- develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
Requirements
- A knowledge of cycling is not required, but social awareness and passion for inclusivity is appreciated
- qualification in Bookkeeping is essential, and a minimum of two years’ bookkeeping experience working within a Community Interest Company or social enterprise retail environment is preferred, and a knowledge of VAT, import duty, and Brexit implications would be beneficial
