Responsibility

  • head chef opportunity for Greek restaurant bar
  • we are looking for a passionate and experienced head chef to take control of our back of house operation
  • the successful candidate will have experience managing a team ,running the kitchen and working in a fast paced environment
  • key responsibilities
  • cooking fresh meats & fish on a charcoal grill whilst controlling full ticket operation
  • leading a small team of chefs
  • food preparation
  • implementing daily , weekly and monthly cleaning duties

Requirements

  • minimum 2 years experience in a similar roll
  • knowledge of the Greek/Cypriot kitchen is desirable but not essential
  • calm, Passionate and a great team leader that leads by example
  • have a solid understanding of staff and stock management
  • experience working on a charcoal Grill
  • great eye for plate design
  • chef: 2 years
  • must be able to thrive and keep a positive attitude under pressure
