Requirements
- previous experience in managing exports of Military Controlled goods along with knowledge of classification of products and allocation of Tariff Numbers
- ability to develop a good working understanding of US and UK Export Control regulations
- shown ability to manage performance and develop people
- NVQ/Certificate or Professional training in Import/Export or control procedures
- experience in working with internal team and customer to develop agreed to schedules
- experience managing multiple members of the Customer Service team on different UK sites
- communication skills, strong verbal, and written abilities, as well as excellent listening and feedback skills
- experience establishing relationships at the buyer or contracting officer level with current and prospective customers
Responsibility
- working closely with the Director of sales, be responsible for maintaining customer information ensuring accuracy at all times, using Gentex systems
- conduct on-going review of quotes for follow-up reporting and to inform product pricing strategy
- ensure that all shipments and documentation is completed in accordance with the Company, customer, and legislative requirements
