technician
Responsibility
- working as part of the service team, maintaining and repairing our Hire Fleet and customers Generators
- provide support to both the service team and office team within the company
- carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are clean and tidy
- delivery and collection of generators and associated items to hire contracts
- be a part of the On Call Rota to provide back up for our customers 24/7 - 365
- undertake minor and major services/repairs of our equipment in the depot and prepare equipment for hire contracts. Load tesing will be carried out to ensure effectiveness of equipment

Requirements
- experience as a Diesel Generator Technician with proven work experience in maintenance/repair of Diesel Generators
- other mechanical backgrounds will be considered i.e Plant/HGV
- general fabrication/welding skills
- forklift tickets
- proficient in using power tools and other equipment
- HGV Class 1 or 2
- familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
