Responsibility
- work within a small but very technical team delivering high quality support to our valued clients.Monitoring servers, services and client issues/requests
- day-to-day system, application & workstation support
- this includes office visits to our London-based clients when required
- build, upgrade & maintain systems on multiple platforms
- troubleshoot, resolve & document solutions related to systems, applications and DR/backup jobs
- we are looking for a Windows Systems & Operations Engineer to assist in the deployment and support of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 environments & client workstations. This person will work a shift from 8AM until 4PM
- successfully applicant will monitor and handle issues with our file processing operation after full training
- ensure that tasks and client requests are dealt with in an organized & timely fashion; document & report status; escalate urgent problems and work with other team members to resolve
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years experience supporting Windows Server & Windows workstations in an Enterprise environment
- A solid understanding of VMware, Windows Active Directory & networking protocols
- good problem-solving ability and interest in learning
- responsible, proactive, and good interpersonal skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- bonus Points
- experience with SQL Server, Proofpoint, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Veeam & Citrix XenApp platforms
- any experience with scripting languages, preferably Windows Powershell
