Requirements
have a degree level education in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with a significant experience in mechanical design
provide guidance and mechanical engineering leadership to projects and team members through mentoring and training of others in team or department
be able to produce design schemes and proposals in response to specifications
check design drawings for completeness and accuracy to BS8888 standards
be able to perform FEA and report accordingly
be able to perform CFD and report accordingly
manage the configuration of the design including complete BoM generation
be able to produce detailed CAD design layouts and manufacturing drawings as well as delegating work to others in the team
