Responsibility
- we offer training, uniform and the opportunity to work extra hours to cover colleagues occasionally
- westerleigh Nursing Home is seeking a part time cook to produce home cooked nutritious and appetizing meals and snacks, for the up to 30 older people who live at Westerleigh
- you need to be caring and compassionate, able to run the kitchen and to follow the guidance given by the Head Cook and Registered Nurses
- you will hold a current Food Hygiene Certificate, at Level 3 or 2 and promote good hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas
- working hours are 8am to 5.30pm either every weekend, or alternate Friday and Saturday one week, then Saturday and Sunday the next week
- you will need to provide references from your last two employers and also be willing to complete a Disclosure and Barring Check, which we will support you to do
