senior geotechnical engineer
Responsibility
- due to an increase in workload, we are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer
- you will work on the geotechnical aspects of multidisciplinary projects, contributing to the design of a variety of geotechnical structures
- you will liaise with teams of varying complexity and size and train/advice our junior engineers
- identify and assist others in identifying and eliminating or mitigating work related and geotechnical hazards
- supervise, train and mentor site geotechnical personnel
- the principal function of this position is to undertake project work involving all elements of geotechnical design/construction issues, providing technical input within that field as part of a multi-disciplinary team, or working separately on particular aspects of geotechnical design/construction providing high quality advice to the Graduate engineers
- you will be a capable manager able to lead design teams, deliver commissions and mentor junior engineers
- undertake geotechnical design work for a range of projects throughout the London including highways, energy, water, maritime, land development and building sectors

Requirements
- candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology
- candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry
