Responsibility
- managing all on-site Rooftop works ensuring the projects are finished on top to the agreed time-lines
- ensure a Construction Phase Plan is in place for all construction work
- ensure each site has the relevant H&S documents in place, including writing RAMS / COSHH / Noise Reg's

- work closely with the Steel Production Manager to ensure all Steels are ready on type to begin works
- management and escalation of team absences or disciplinary issues
- maintain effective relationships with the site teams, clients & internal departments to make it happen
- update Fonn check lists with required or additional information on the Scope of Works
- ensuring all hygiene documents are completed correctly & filed out in accordance with the companies set requirements
- managing, coaching, encouraging, and motivating all other members of the on-site Hygiene team to make sure they are working to the best of their personal abilities giving opportunity for real development
- attend site as PIC when required to do so on surveys or projects
- supporting other Senior Managers in delivering a professional operation
- leading the Hygiene Team to ensure the completion of hygiene schedules, projects, daily cleaning plans, ensuring the plant and working environments hygiene is maintained to the highest possible standard
- work with the Steel Ops Team to deliver correct items, parts & components to the site/s
- ensuring that any lifting equipment provided for use by the company or to be installed as part of the works is to the correct specification/s
- support the training of on-site operatives
- review site teams work using the internal audit process to comply with ISO requirements
- carrying out regular on-site Hygiene audits, along with assisting during BRC or other external Hygiene audits, plus ensuring all Hygiene behaviours are in line with legislation / compliance across all areas of the operation from Operatives, Team Leaders, Managers & Visitors to the site, wearing the correct PPE
- regulate and audit all contractors / suppliers of services
- ensure all information required for project completion and client handover has been delivered / requested
- attending client sites of works when required
- CI / LEAN focused looking at ways of improving Hygiene plus reducing costs for chemicals, PPE & other associated cleaning products / accessories that are used on a day to day basis
- you will be a continuous improvements implementer, focused on improving Quality procedures
- maintain an understanding of every roof top installation project from tender stage to the final customer handover stage

- QHSE professional with a NEBOSH certificate, IOSH & Lead Auditor qualifications
- knowledge of the manufacturing, built environment or engineering industries is ideal but other sectors considered too
- ability to lead a team of c.20 or more Hygiene operatives / industrial cleaners
- knowledge of social, environmental & sustainability issues / trends
- highly organised, computer literate
- ideally Low & High care food manufacturing experience
- strong QMS / QHSE systems experience
- ideally experienced in managing ISO14001 plus FSC certification
- H&S plus CDM experience is required
- strong professional communicator at all levels with a positive upbeat outlook
- ideally experienced in conducting Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions
- manufacturing experience
- ideally experienced in conducting product life cycle assessments
- knowledge of LEED, BREEAM, WELL and SKA Rating is ideal not a must have though
- knowledge of both the UN Sustainable Development Goals & the UN Global Compact is beneficial
- excellent communicator as key linchpin between the Project Manager, Commercial teams & the on-site teams, with the ability to adjust your speaking style
- knowledge in energy efficiency plus environmental impact reduction strategies
- experienced in ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001 accreditation criteria / legislation
