Requirements
- previous Care Home Manager Experience
- ideally qualified nurse with NMC PIN
- A management qualification e.g
- good relationships with local commissioners and care coordinators
- A motivating and inspirational leader
- sound knowledge of human resource issues
- experience in employee performance management
- sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding procedures
Responsibility
- to attend CPA’s and other medical meetings if required
- to ensure the physical environment of the home is kept clean and safe. This includes overseeing and documenting all required checks e.g. fire alarm checks, and fridge temperatures
- to actively undertake quality assurance assessments of the service
- to ensure all your team members are performing the job to a high standard – this includes performing and documenting yearly appraisals and supervisions 6 times a year
