Responsibility
- conducting carpentry repairs and installations, such as repairing or replacing doors, windows, stairs, flooring, and skirting boards
- conducting general property repairs, including roofing, painting and basic plumbing
- diagnosing and resolving issues related to property maintenance, including identifying the cause of problems and recommending appropriate solutions
- ensuring work is completed to a high standard, following health and safety regulations and company policies
- communicating with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships
- keeping accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or City and Guilds equivalent
- proven experience as a Carpenter or Multi Skilled Operative, with a strong background in carpentry work
- knowledge of general property maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical work
- ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide effective solutions
- excellent carpentry skills, including proficiency in using various hand and power tools
- strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- full UK driving license is required
- own tools preferred
