Responsibility
- process purchase orders requests, ensure authorisation is obtained and the order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
- chase shipping documents
- execute suspended receipts
- validate suppliers invoices before passing them to Accounts for payments
- keep logs/records of invoices and other shipment documents
- anticipate payment value in following week for Accounts
- work with logistics, Accounts and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- check supplier order confirmations to ensure the correct stock is ordered and delivered in accordance with the agreed price, quantity and date
Requirements
- attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- enthusiasm and results focus, with an ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
- manufacturing Industry experience preferred
