Responsibility

  • carry out a job review with the Contract Team
  • assist the Contract Manager in devising a Work Plan
  • select suitable labour for completing the work in line with the Work Plan
  • ensure direct labour is allocated effectively and, if necessary, liaise with other Works Managers to ensure this is achievable
  • source materials, plant, equipment and any other resource required to carry out work contained within delegated package
  • ensure any permits, licenses and/or charges are obtained to enable the works
  • be the primary contact for the Customer in regard to site operations
  • carry out regular liaison with the Customer to ensure they are kept updated with progress and to identify any potential issues
