Requirements
demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development
three years of experience working with children in the last five years and at least one year at senior level
supervision or management experience
inter-agency work
level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or preparedness to work towards the same
Responsibility
produce monitoring reports as required
ensure ICT policies are adhered to by staff and children
conduct quality monitoring and implement action plans
prevent placement breakdowns by dealing with placement issues
ensure up-to-date risk assessments are in place to protect children and staff under organisational policies
ensure an independent person carries out the monthly Regulation 44 visits
promote equality and diversity by interpreting equality, diversity, and rights according to legislation and policies
