Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport materials and supplies to designated locations
- plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- load and unload materials and supplies from the vehicle using manual or mechanical equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Requirements
- fleet insurance stipulates drivers 21 or over with a minimum 2 years driving
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred
- ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment
- strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to lift heavy packages or goods as required
- delivery driver experience: 1 year
