- lead on absence management process with guidance and support from the HR Manager
- lead on first line sickness disciplinaries and other first line level disciplinaries, investigations, grievances and other ER Case as appropriate
- co-ordinate exit interviews and ensure all leaver documentation is produced in a timely manner and forwarded to payroll for processing
- assist Management in responding to flexible working applications to ensure compliance with legislation and consistency within the establishment
- provide professional HR support and accurate and appropriate advice, including advice on diversity, absence, grievance and disciplinary, to line management to minimise risk of litigation in accordance with current legislation
- support with the planning, recruitment and selection of front line, administrative staff and junior management to meet the business unit requirements
- assist in the updating and implementation of policies and procedures to meet business requirements
- produce daily absence reports and liaise with managers to ensure effective management of absence, assisting in home visits, welfare meetings, return to works and provision of occupational health reports where required
